Earth Council Alliance (ECA) co-founders, Maurice Strong and Tommy Short, and President Marcelo de Andrade just returned from a month-long series of meetings on sustainability in China where they conducted meetings with environmental organizations. The leaders of the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) of China, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Oriental Environmental Institute (OEI), and Environmental Management College of China (EMCC) met with the ECA leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration among Earth Councils and Chinese governmental, business, educational, and non-profit leaders.
